Arsenal

Scan - Fritz always has this tool. It allows him to sweep the area and get a clue about how to continue. This will also allow him to interact with tech objects.

Gun
- First tool gained. Allows Fritz to shoot. Each shot deals moderate damage; enough to kill lesser enemies with one or two hits.

Jump
- Second tool gained. Allows Fritz to jump.

Missiles
- Third tool gained. Allows Fritz to destroy breakable walls and deal more damage to enemies. Each missile deals 10x the damage of a regular shot.

Shield
- Fourth tool gained. Allows Fritz to temporarily become invincible to damage. Shield regenerates at 1/10 its usage.

Hover
- Fifth tool gained. Upgrades Fritz to hover in midair after jumping. Recharges as soon as he touches the ground.

Cannon
- Optional tool. Increases Fritz's gun to fire at full-automatic and deal double damage.

Fritz

The name Fritz is still only a working title. Simply our production name.

The player controls a military combat robot who decides it doesn't want to be an implement of destruction anymore. So it shoots its way out of its R&D lab. It's fully aware of the irony.

Fritz is our first foray into full 3D gameplay. Our engine will be designed from the ground up from scratch.

Gameplay in Fritz will be very similar to the metroid series. The player will explore the laboratory in search of new tools and weapons, which will unlock new areas. The first game will be admittedly small in scope; only a few inventory items and two bosses. Target total playtime is approximately 1-2 hours.
